The Centre was opened in March 2000  and is operated on a dual agreement with Graham School. The Centre comprises 8 match tables (which can be increased to 12 for coaching purposes), a viewing area/lounge, changing and shower facilities, a kitchen, and ample car parking space.

Many thanks are due to the National Lottery, the Foundation for Sport & the Arts, Scarborough Borough Council, Graham School, and the many players and supporters in Scarborough who were involved in fund raising.  The cost of building and equipping the Centre was  half a million pounds.

* Closing time will be when league matches finish, or 10.30 pm at the latest

The Centre opening times are amended during the Summer months.  The Centre may close prior to 10.30pm if it is not being fully utilised.

 

On Monday to Thursday the Centre is open for match play with tables being set aside for the public.

 

On Fridays the Centre is used by junior players in the ELITE squad although tables are always available for casual play

 

The League also operates a satellite venue at Gladstone Road School on Wednesdays for match play and Thursdays for the  Beginners Division from 6pm to 7pm and for beginners coaching from 7 pm to 8pm. There is also a satellite venue at Barrowcliff Junior School on Mondays from 6 to 7.30.  Attendance at these venues is by invitation.

 

The Centre can be open from 6pm if required and can be made available at times other than those listed above by arrangement.

 

As  well as the listed evenings the Centre is available for table tennis every weekend and during all school holidays as required.
